Itinerary
Day
01: Delhi - Corbett National Park
Early departure from Delhi to arrive for lunch at the
wildlife resort in Corbett National Park. Afternoon,
enjoy a nature walk accompanied by a naturalist along
the Kosi River to spot a wide variety of exotic and
colorful birds. Known for its rich bird populations, the
Kosi area is truly a bird's paradise.
Return to the resort in the evening. After freshening
up, watch a slide show on the flora and fauna of the
Corbett National Park. Dinner and overnight stay will be
at the Resort.
Day 02: Corbett National Park
Enjoy a thrilling Jeep Safari in Corbett National Park
for tiger tracking. Drive along the Ramganga, to look
for some fish-eating Gharial and Marsh Crocodiles. If
you are lucky enough, you can spot some exotic species
of birds like Kingfishers, Greyheaded Fishing Eagles,
Osprey, Crested Serpent Eagle and the Mammalia.
Arrive at the breathtakingly beautiful Dhikala and check
in at a Rest House and relax. After lunch, take an
exciting elephant ride to enjoy the panoramic view of
the grassland area and its abundant wildlife.
Thereafter, return back to the Rest House for dinner and
overnight stay.
Day 03: Corbett National Park
Enjoy an early morning Jeep Safari in the Ghairal area
and into the awesome wilderness of the Corbett National
Park and arrive at the wildlife resort. After freshening
up, drive in a jeep to get to the start-off point of the
Elephant Safari. En-route visit Kanda situated at an
altitude of 1,020m, where Jim Corbett shot the Kanda
man-eater. After having a picnic lunch, start your
exciting Elephant Safari in the great Himalayan
foothills. After enjoying the leisure ride, arrive at
the Forest's Rest House.
Dinner ands overnight stay at the Rest House in the
wilderness of Corbett.
Day
04: Corbett National Park
Start early in the morning for a daylong wildlife
expedition on an Elephant back, en-route halting at a
picturesque spot for breakfast. Resume your elephant
safari and stop again for rest at a forest rest house.
After relaxing, continue the elephant safari for the
Sonanadi Sanctuary, passing through breathtaking scenery
all the way. Arrive at the Sonanadi Sanctuary and check
in at the Halduparao Forest Rest House. After a
refreshing hot water bath, enjoy a get together at a
campfire.
Overnight stay at the Forest Rest House in the Sonanadi
Sanctuary.
Day 05: Corbett National Park
Today after breakfast at the Forest Rest House, you can
choose from the options of either enjoying an elephant
ride or Jeep Safari or a forest walking with an armed
guard in the Sonanadi Sanctuary, for wildlife viewing.
In the evening, drive back to the wildlife resort at
Corbett.
Dinner and overnight stay will be at wildlife resort in
Corbett National Park.
Day 06: Corbett National Park - Delhi - Onward
Destination
After breakfast, we depart for Delhi to arrive there by
noon. Thereafter, you can start for your onward
destination or way back home with lifetime memories of
Corbett Elephant Safari
