Day 01 –
Mahabalipuram – 58 kms
You will be received by our representatives at
the
Chennai Airport or Railway Station. Proceed to the
World Cultural Heritage Site at Mahabalipuram. Check in
to your resort. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day
02 – Mahabalipuram
Spend
your day sightseeing at Mahabalipuram, after your
breakfast. Visit the Shore Temples and Arjuna’s
Penance, the world’s biggest brass relief and finely
carved ancient monuments. Overnight at the hotel.
Day
03 – Pondicherry – 135 kms
Morning after breakfast, proceed to Pondicherry, a
quaint little coastal town with a charming French-Indian
culture. Check in to your resort and set out for local
sightseeing in the afternoon. Overnight stay at
Pondicherry.
Day 04 –
Pondicherry
Morning after breakfast, spend the whole d ay
sightseeing at Pondicherry. Visit Sri Aurobindo Ashram
and the Pondicherry Museum. Visit the old part of
Pondicherry with evergreen market places and enjoy your
evening at the beach. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 05 –
Madurai – 200 kms
Proceed to Madurai following breakfast. Check in to
your resort by noon. Visit the famous Meenakshi Temple
and the Tirumala Nayak Palace. Overnight at hotel.
Day 06 –
Kodaikanal – 120 kms
After breakfast, proceed to Kodaikanal, the famous hill
station. Check in to your resort. Overnight stay at
resort.
Day 07 –
Kodaikanal
Full day sightseeing at Kodaikanal. Overnight stay at
Kodaikanal.
Day 08 –
Munnar – 174 kms
Check out from the hotel at Kodai and proceed to Munnar,
the “nature lover’s paradise”. After a 3 hours 30
minutes drive, you’ll reach Munnar, where you check in
to the hotel/resort. In the evening, proceed to
Mattupetty dam/Kundala dam for boating. On the way,
make a visit to the echo point & shooting point. A 7kms
drive further down will take you to the top station for
a spectacular view. Overnight stay will be arranged at
the resort.
Day 09 –
Munnar
Munnar, “The Gateway to the Hills”, has the highest peak
in South India- Anaimudi – which towers over 269 meters
(of course needs trekking) and Devikulam – a nature
lovers’ retreat. Trout fishing on the Devikulam Lake is
a major attraction. Eravikulam National Park is the
best place to see the Nilgiri Tahr, the mountain goat of
South India. Overnight at Munnar.
Day 10 –
Thekkady – 106 kms
Proceed to Thekkady after breakfast. Check in to your
resort. Overnight stay at resort.
Day 11 –
Thekkady
Morning after breakfast, set out for sightseeing at
Thekkady, boating in Periyar Lake through the wildlife
sanctuary, spices plantation (coffee & cardamom) etc.
Day 12 –
Kovalam – 140 kms
Proceed to Kovalam, the famous beach, also known as
“Paradise of the South”, after a sumptuous breakfast.
This marvelous beach is a tourist’s dream come true.
Check in to your resort and relax in the beach.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 13 –
Kovalam
Morning after breakfast, spend the day at Kovalam beach,
a sheltered natural bay with cool soothing palms and
gentle waves. When you are tired of aquatics, swimming
or sunbathing, you can explore the handicrafts, jewelry
and cloth shops spread along the waterfront. Overnight
stay at resort.
Day 14 –
Kovalam
Full day at Kovalam and overnight stay at Kovalam.
Day 15 –
Alleppey – 174 kms
Check out from the hotel at Thekkady and proceed to
Alleppey, known as the “Venice of the East”. It is
famous for its backwaters, boat races, houseboat
holidays, beaches, marine and coir products. A
houseboat cruise through the narrow canals, paddy
fields, coconut lagoons and coir villages in Alleppey
await you. Overnight stay in the houseboat.
Day 16 –
Cochin – 64 kms
Morning after breakfast, proceed to Cochin. Sightseeing
begins with a visit to the Mattanchery Dutch Palace, the
Jewish synagogue, the St. Francis Church – the oldest
European church in India, the Chinese fishing nets and
the St. Mary’s Cathedral. Back to the hotel in the
evening where your overnight stay will be arranged.
Day 17 –
Bangalore – 578 kms
Morning after breakfast, proceed to Bangalore. Check in
to your resort. Overnight stay at resort.
Day 18 –
Bangalore
Sightseeing at Bangalore. Visit Lal Bagh Gardens,
Vidhan Soudha, Cubbon Park, ISKCON and Tipu’s Palace.
Enjoy shopping at Bangalore. Overnight stay at resort.
Day 19 –
Mysore – 139 kms
Proceed to Mysore. Visit Mysore City Palace and Museum,
Chamundi hills, Saint Philomena’s Church and Lalitha
Mahal Palace. Back to hotel at Mysore. Overnight stay
at Mysore.

20 – Drop at Bangalore
We drive to the Airport or the Railway station at
Bangalore with all the check-in formalities. |
