Itinerary
Day
1: Arrive Chennai
On the first day of your itinerary, reach at
International Airport. You will meet our company
representatives here and get transferred to the hotel.
Take rest and have your rest of the day at leisure for
your independent activities.
Chennai is the capital city of Tamil Nadu in the South
of India. It is also an important tourist destination of
India. Chennai is famous as the "Gateway to South
India". Explore the city and mark the rich
historical and cultural heritage, of Tamil Nadu. The
hundreds of temples, historic monuments, museums and art
galleries are worth your visit. Have your dinner and
stay overnight at Chennai.

Day
02: Chennai to Kanchipuram to Mamallapuram
Have
your breakfast and take a sightseeing tour to Chennai.
You will enjoy visiting the popular attractions of
Chennai, including Mariana Beach, Fort St. George,
Valluvar Kottam, Fort Museum, Kapaleeswarar Temple,
Snake Park, Santhome Cathedral, and other. After lunch,
move on to Kanchipuram.
Kanchipuram
is a beautiful temple city and an important cultural
city of Tamil Nadu. It was the ancient capital of
Pallavas. It is famous with the name of the city of 1000
temples. Still, after the long race of time, there are
124 temples in the city. Kanchipuram is known for its
beautiful silk sarees too. See the amazing temple of
Kanchipuram, popular for the architectural richness.
Some of them are too ancient to have belonged to the 7th
and 8th century time. There are several interesting
paintings on the walls. Take a drive to Mamallapuram,
also called as Mahabalipuram.
Mahabalipuram is an ancient port town of south India,
best known for its rock cut and monolithic temple
architecture. It is a major tourist attraction and is
developed as a beach resort destination too.
Mahabalipuram is also a UNESCO world Heritage Site. You
will also see the other attractions of the city that
include Arjuna's Penance, the Shore Temple and Pancha
Rathas (Five Chariots), the five monolithic pyramidal
structures. Reach here and check in the Beach Resort for
an overnight stay.
Day 03: Mamallapuram to Chennai to Kodaikanal
Have your breakfast and enjoy the sightseeing tour of
Mamallapuram. You can see here the ancient rock cut
temple made out of a single rock and the 7th century
Pallavas monuments. Later, you will return to the resort
and unwind on the beach.
In the evening, you will have a drive to the Chennai
Railway Station and board overnight train to Kodaikanal.
Stay overnight onboard the train.
Day 04: Kodaikanal
Have an early morning arrival at the Kodai Station. You
will move on to Kodaikanal by road. Watch out for the
wonderful scenery as you will climb over the hill. Check
in the hotel and have your rest of the day at leisure.
Kodaikanal is located on the picturesque Palani Hills at
the altitude of about 2,100 meters over the sea level.
Kodaikanal is simply splendid and is regarded as one of
the most attractive and calm hill stations of southern
India. With its surroundings of green slopes, rocks,
delightful waterfalls and pretty lakes, Kodaikanal will
win your heart instantly.
Enjoy an exhilarating boating experience in the evening
on the Kodai Lake. Stay overnight at Kodaikanal.
Day 05: Kodaikanal
Have your breakfast and enjoy the sightseeing tour of
Kodaikanal. You will enjoy visiting the renowned Coakers
Walk, Bryant Park, Pillar Rocks and Kurinji Andavar
Temple. You will take your rest of the day at leisure.
Stay overnight at Kodaikanal.
Day 06: Kodaikanal to Thekkady or Periyar
Have your breakfast at the hotel. You will take a drive
to the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. Reach here and check
in the Forest Lodge. In the evening, you will enjoy a
memorable trip on the picturesque Periyar Lake to view
wildlife. Stay overnight at the Forest Lodge.
Day 07: Thekkady
After breakfast at the Lodge and take rest of the day at
leisure. Take a safari on a Jeep or Elephant Safari (on
your own) to explore the rich flora and fauna of
Periyar. On the Munnar hills, you can see the serene
world of lush grasslands. The Periyar Lake is also home
for the wildlife species and adds much beauty to the
sanctuary. You can see here elephants, Wild Pigs, Gaur,
Barking Deer, Sambar, Dole, Indian Wild Dog, Mouse Deer
and a Tiger. Optional: You can choose to enjoy launch
trip again, at dawn. Stay overnight at the Forest Lodge.
Day 08: Thekkady - Kottayam - Cochin
Have your breakfast and take a drive to reach Kottayam.
Reach Kottayam. Here, you will enjoy an unforgettable
houseboat cruise in the scenic settings of palm fringed
picturesque backwaters while sailing towards Cochin.
Reach Cochin in the evening and check in the hotel.
Cochin is an exciting port city of Kerala that is most
visited for its harbor culture and natural splendor.
Cochin is also famous with the name of Kochi. It is one
of the most popular and most visited historical cities
of Kerala. Cochin offers spectacular backwaters and
beaches. Stay overnight at Cochin.
Day 09: Cochin to Trivandrum to Kovalam
Have your breakfast and enjoy the sightseeing tour of
Cochin. You will visit the famous sightseeing
attractions, such as Mattancherry Palace or Dutch
Palace, St. Francis Church, Bolghatty Palace, Jewish
Synagogue and the Cochin harbor. The huge Chinese
Fishing Nets, particularly at the Vasco Da Gama Square
provide the best sight of the harbor.
In the afternoon, you will take a drive to Kovalam, the
perfect beach destination of kerala. With its
spectacular natural beauty, clean and beautiful
surroundings and serenity, Kovalam attracts tourist from
India and abroad. Kovalam beach is located near the
capital city of Kerala. Reach Kovalam and check in the
beach resort. Stay overnight at Kovalam.
Day 10: Kovalam
Have your breakfast at the hotel. Your rest of the day
will be at leisure. You will enjoy your rest of the day
in relaxing and sunbathing on the picturesque beaches of
Kovalam. If you feel your sporty guts overcoming you,
try your hand at the adventure sports here at the beach.

Day
11: Kovalam to Trivandrum to departure
Post breakfast, you will depart Kovalam. You will move
on to Trivandrum. Board a timely flight to your next
