Day 01 – Cochin

You will be received by our representatives at the Cochin Airport or Railway Station.  You will be dropped at your resort, where you can check in and relax.  Sightseeing begins in the afternoon with a visit to the Mattancherry Dutch Palace, the Jewish synagogue, the St. Francis Church—the oldest European church in India, the Chinese fishing nets and St. Mary’s Cathedral.  Back to the hotel in the evening where your overnight stay will be arranged.

Day 02 – Munnar “The Southern Kashmir of Kerala”

Check out from the hotel at Cochin and proceed to Munnar, known as the “nature lover’s paradise”.  After 3 hours 30 minutes drive, you’ll reach Munnar, where you check in to the hotel/resort.  In the evening, proceed to Mattupetty dam/Kundala dam for boating.  On the way, make a visit to the echo point & shooting point.  A 7kms drive further down will take you to the top station for a spectacular view.  Overnight stay will be arranged at the resort.

 Day 03 – Munnar

Munnar, “The Gateway to the Hills”, has the highest peak in South India – Anaimudi – which towers over 269 metres (of course needs trekking) and Devikulam – a nature lovers’ retreat.  Trout fishing on the Devikulam lake is a major attraction.  Eravikulam National Park is the best place to see the Nilgiri Tahr, the mountain goat of South India.  Overnight at Munnar.

 Day 04 – Thekkady

Morning after breakfast, proceed to Thekkady, where you can check in to your resort and relax.  Set out for sightseeing at Thekkady, boating in Periyar Lake through the wildlife sanctuary and spice plantations (coffee & cardamom) etc.

 Day 05 – Alleppey

Check out from the hotel at Thekkady and proceed to Alleppey, the “Venice of the East”.  It is famous for its backwaters, boat races, houseboat holidays, beaches, marine and coir products.  A houseboat cruise through the narrow canal, paddy fields, coconut lagoons and coir villages in Alleppey await you.  Overnight stay in the houseboat.

 Day 06 – Kovalam

Proceed to Kovalam, the famous beach known as the “Paradise of the South”, after a sumptuous breakfast.  This marvelous beach is a tourist’s dream come true.  Check in to your resort and relax on the beach.  Overnight at hotel.

 Day 07 – Kovalam

Morning after breakfast, spend the day at Kovalam beach, a sheltered natural bay with cool soothing palms and gentle waves.  When you are tired of aquatics, swimming or sunbathing you can explore the handicrafts, jewelry and cloth shops spread along the waterfront.  Overnight stay at resort.

Day 08 – Drop at Trivandrum

Time to bid farewell.  We drive you to the Airport or Railway station with all the check-in formalities.
